We’ve reopened in accordance with CDC, O.S.H.A., and State Dental Board guidelines to responsibly resume seeing our patients for regular dental appointments and treatment. We want to assure you of the measures we take to maintain a clean and safe environment so you can continue to receive needed dental care without fear or concern.
Dr. Amna Alwardi provides her patients with a gentle, caring and comprehensive approach to their oral health and overall well-being. She builds a foundation of trust with her patients and prides herself on delivering high-quality dental care. Dr. Alwardi believes in a conservative approach to treatment along with preventive care. She is skilled in treating children, adults and special needs patients.
Dr. Alwardi’s areas of dental proficiency include: implant restorations, surgical extractions, root canal therapy, crowns and bridges. She is committed to continuing education and stays up-to-date with the latest technology.
Dr. Alwardi received her Associate of Science degree with a major in science from Northern Virginia Community College in Annandale, VA. She earned her Bachelor of Science degree in Biology from Virginia Commonwealth University in Richmond, VA. Continuing her pursuit in dentistry, Dr. Alwardi went on to receive her Doctor of Dental Surgery degree from the University of Maryland School of Dentistry in Baltimore, MD. After graduation, Dr. Alwardi completed a General Practice Dental Residency at the Veterans Affairs NY Harbor Healthcare System in Manhattan, NY.
Dr. Alwardi has volunteered her time and skills to Mission of Mercy projects, Healthy Smile for Baltimore Kids, and Give Kids a Smile day; all of which provide much needed dental care to the underserved.
She is a member of the American Dental Association, Virginia Dental Association, and the Maryland State Dental Association. She is fluent in both English and Arabic.
When she’s not in the office treating patients, Dr. Alwardi enjoys exercise, outdoor activities and cooking.
